Shin Bible Black: La Lanza de Longinus
Also known as "Bible Black New Testament" or "Bible Black Revival", this is a series that probably needs no introduction. It is the sequel to the original 6 episode Bible Black series. The artwork is absolutely superb with very strong shadowing and highlights to accentuate details. Unfortunately, "Episode 3: Rule" is notorious for breaking the streak of quality. The uncensoring work for the US release of this episode was done on an incomplete draft of the animation. This resulted in misaligned objects, lost highlights, and half done special effects. It is for this reason that both the uncensored US version and the original censored Japanese release, which does not have these flaws, have been uploaded.
All praise for the following episodes belongs to the subbing groups Hentai Reactor, Hentai Society, and EROBEAT. EROBEAT was on the scene first, bringing the first US DVD rips of this series. HR & HS came a bit later but improved on EROBEAT's work with higher quality encodings. More recently, EROBEAT has again led the way by releasing the 5th episode currently only in Japan.
